Our Story

A Family Legacy, Rooted in the Land

1958, Ron and Marion Steinhardt purchased a small plot of uncleared land in Bundaberg, Queensland. With endless determination and a deep love for the land, they built what would become Macadamias Australia — a multi-generational family farm that today spans thousands of trees across the rich, fertile soils of one of Australia's premier food-growing regions. Now in their second and third generation, the Steinhardt family continues to grow, harvest, process, and package every macadamia on their own farm. From tree to table, every nut is handled with family care. When you choose Macadamias Australia, you're not buying from a factory — you're sharing in a family's 65-year legacy.
